Looking for some fun books set in Hawaii to keep you entertained this summer? This book list is the perfect place to start!

As part of my books set around the world series, I will be sharing my recommendations for fictional stories set across the globe. These lists are designed to help readers curate their perfect summer TBR’s, and to explore as many places as possible through the pages of a book!

Kicking off the series will be stories that take place in Hawaii, a tropical destination known for its beautiful landscapes, vivid marine life, idyllic beaches and distinctive culture.

The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren

Reckless Girls by Rachel Hawkins

Starting the story off in this beautiful, tropical location allows the reader to draw stark comparisons between Hawaii and the groups final location of Meroe Island, making the latter seem even more sinister.

The Suite Life by Portia Mackintosh

Hula by Jasmin Iolani Hakes
